A little ahead of schedule...

So now that I'm approaching my due date, less than a month to go, I'm down to my weekly doctor appointments. I went in today and the Dr. measured me and I'm measuring at 37 weeks, which is a week closer to my due date than I should be. I'm supposed to be at 36 weeks. Hmmm... could he come early? Or was my belly just protruding a little more than usual? I go back in on Monday, so I guess we'll see what happens then.

As much as we would LOVE to have our little guy come a little early, we want to be sure he is actually ready!! Which at this point, I know that you are considered "full term" and it is usually just fine for them to be born, but it's always better to be on the safe side. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!! We'll keep you posted...

31 days to go...

These pictures are always awkward to take. But upon request, I thought I would post a couple shots of my pregnant belly at 8 months. Only 31 days to go. We sure are getting excited to meet our little guy!!

Tennessee

A couple weeks ago we went with our friends Devin and Sarah to Tennessee. The boys wanted to go to the UT vs Florida game. We were lucky enough to stay with my uncle and aunt, so it was good to see some of my family, even if it was just for a night. We got there on Friday and went right into downtown Knoxville to experience a different kind of tailgating. The University of Tennessee over looks the river, so instead of parking your car and tailgating, which I'm sure they do too, many people drive their boats up the river and anchor for the day, the night, or even the weekend. They just tie their boats together and walk across to get to shore. My cousin told us about it, but it was definitely something that we had never seen before. So when we got there we grabbed dinner then walked up and down the river taking in the atmosphere.
Beyond the bridge you can see the stadium and just a fraction of the amount of boats that will be tied together to experience the game.

On Saturday, Sarah and I dropped the boys off at the game and we did what most girls do, went shopping. After the game, we picked the boys up and headed back home. Although the boys were disappointed that it wasn't the best game for Tennessee, they still enjoyed the experience of being in the stadium taking in the Tennessee experience. It was a fun little get away.

My How Time Flies...

It's hard to believe that Steve and I have been married for 2 years now. I know that it's long, but it feels weird that the time has flown by so fast. As time continues to fly by, we are getting more and more excited to expand our little family and welcome our little baby boy in less than a month and a half. We can't wait to see what he has in store for us and many more anniversaries to come.

Seven Months... and Counting...

I don't usually post pregnant pictures of just me, but I've gotten a few requests from people wanting to see my progress since we moved, so here you go...

Things are going well. I'm about seven months and down to my every 2 weeks doctor appointments. The doctors all seem really nice, and after I rotate through all 5 that are in the practice, I will be able to choose one to be my primary doctor. As far as everything else goes, I'm just trying to get everything ready and make sure we are all set for our little baby boy to arrive!! We are getting really excited and can't wait for the big day!!

Intramural Soccer...

As an outlet from his school work, Steve's playing intramural soccer and flag football. The soccer team has a couple guys from his program on it, but mostly has other guys from our ward that are also students at Clemson. He was really excited about their first game, which was last night. They all played really well and it was really fun to watch. Their first football game will be next week. We'll keep you updated on that one too. For now, here are some pictures from the soccer game. The team
