Our city has fabulous Rec Centers with great pools. Luckily we live right down the street from one.
We ventured over there for the first time the other day to meet up with some friends. The kids loved playing and splashing in the water. And I had a great time visiting and soaking up the sun as I tried to keep my independent 2 year old from following the older kids farther into the water.
Sydney loved it!! It's a zero-depth pool, so we were able to sit at the edge and she could play in it all so wanted.
By the time we got home from our 2 minute drive, she was OUT!!
Let's just say she slept from 6pm-6am that night (which is so unlike her)
But I wasn't complaining.

I LOVE Sydney's hat. Super cute. And, that's awesome she slept so well. Sounds like the two of us need to take our girls swimming everyday. Then we could enjoy the sun during the day and sleep at night! What a concept. :)
